First Walk in the Woods is backed in a dark grey/ brown cotton fabric. Covered in an array of leaves in green, mustard, white and blue. These fun but calming petals and stems bring the front and back together. This quilt was quilted on a sewing machine, hand guided, with olive color cotton thread.

This quilt has a few large imperfections. It is still lovingly hand designed and pieced. It took hours, days and months to make. Although it was made with the utmost care, there are undeniable flaws, as with many homemade goods. This quilt deserves to go to a good home and be enjoyed for a lifetime.
There are two puckers in the backing material. Photos are included.
